Jacinta’s directing debut was her multimedia piece Verso (2023). The piece was performed live in front of an audience, whilst actors interacted with filmed excerpts of themselves. The piece also featured components of physical theatre and dance. She also wrote and featured in the piece, which centred on a widow navigating her way through her grief.

Jacinta’s latest directing role is for the short film Hot Chocolate produced by Et Si Studios. The film is set to release in 2026. Jacinta is set to direct the upcoming short films Grey and The Last Stop, also producing be Et Si Studios.

WRITING

Jacinta is an avid writer and has thoroughly been honing this craft for the majority of her life. Professionally, Jacinta focuses on writing scripts for theatre, television and film.

She wrote her theatrical performance What’s in a Name? for Emerge (2023), a showcase directed by Jane Angharad and performed at the Sydney Opera House.

She has been a script supervisor and co-writer for films for the production companies Limitless Network Studios and Grandad’s Chair Entertainment respectively. Grandad’s Chair Entertainment’s short film The Bolters (2026), for which Jacinta was a co-writer and script supervisor, has won “Best Drama” at the New York Film Awards and London Film Awards respectively, as well as “Best International Short” at London Film Club.

She has also written Et Si Studios’ upcoming debut film Hot Chocolate.
